Chime Compatibility: The Video Doorbell E340 can pair with your existing chime, eufy HomeBase S280, HomeBase S380, MiniBase Chime(T8023), Alexa, and Google Voice Assistant. It is not compatible with the original eufy Wi-Fi Chime(T8020), eufy Chime(T8740/T8742), or Apple HomeKit.

Apple HomeKit Support: The Video Doorbell E340 does not currently support Apple HomeKit, but it is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

Pre-Record Function and Chime Compatibility: The pre-record function will be available from early December 2023 when the doorbell is constantly powered with a 16-24V, 30VA transformer. An existing chime needs to be bypassed at the same time.

Wi-Fi and Battery Compatibility: The Video Doorbell E340 only supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and must have the battery installed, even when using it in wired mode.

Alexa Integration: To link the Video Doorbell E340 with Alexa, follow these steps: 1) Open the Alexa app side menu and tap "Browse"; 2) Find and enable the "eufy Security" skill; 3) Enter your eufy account login details on the Link Account page; 4) Tap "Discover Devices" to see which security devices you can use with Alexa.
